Bulletin Express03-31

Prudential plc (“Prudential”) reported that, as of 31 March 2026, its issued share capital admitted to trading comprises 2.53 billion ordinary shares with a nominal value of GBP 0.05 each. Every ordinary share carries one voting right, giving the insurer a total of 2.53 billion voting rights. The company confirmed it holds no treasury shares, so the full share count is included in the voting-rights denominator used for regulatory disclosure calculations.

Prudential maintains dual primary listings in Hong Kong and London, with secondary listings in Singapore and New York (via ADRs). The current Board is chaired by Shriti Vadera and includes CEO Anil Wadhwani alongside 10 independent non-executive directors.

Prudential delivers life and health insurance as well as asset-management services across Greater China, ASEAN, India and Africa. Shareholders or other parties with notification obligations under the UK Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules should use the updated figure of 2.53 billion voting rights when determining disclosure thresholds.
