Beijing's newest landmark is ready for its debut. The city's tallest Ferris wheel, named "Big Eye Jing," is scheduled to open to the public on June 27th.
Located at Beijing Happy Valley, this attraction is a key part of the park's 20th-anniversary celebrations. From its initial announcement, the "Big Eye Jing" Ferris wheel has generated significant excitement, instantly becoming the highest structure of its kind in Beijing and a prominent aerial landmark in the city's southeast Fourth Ring Road area.
Standing at approximately 99 meters tall, the wheel is equipped with 46 observation cabins. Reaching the top offers visitors a complete, 360-degree panoramic view of the Beijing cityscape, providing a romantic experience suitable for all ages.
Coinciding with the opening, Beijing Happy Valley will launch its Summer Carnival festival, which will run throughout the summer holiday period. The event will integrate the Ferris wheel with a "music+" concept, featuring the "Big Eye Jing" Music Season. This initiative aims to create a condensed urban music and leisure experience for visitors.
