Pakistani government sources say Pakistan and Qatar have established new contact channels with the US and Iran aimed at stopping military action and pressing both sides to resume talks under the Islamabad memorandum.
Despite a fresh escalation in hostilities, Pakistan remains optimistic the memorandum can be upheld.
