As Brent crude extends its upward trajectory and breaks through the $100 per barrel threshold, U.S. Treasuries are experiencing declines, with mid-duration securities leading the slide and pushing the two-year yield to its highest level since January 2025.
The two-year Treasury yield has increased by 2 basis points to 4.42%, while German and UK equivalents have risen by 5 basis points each, reaching 3.05% and 4.64%, respectively.
Driven by escalating U.S.-Iran tensions, Brent crude futures have surged 3% to $100.87 per barrel.
