Dutch positioning technology firm TomTom forecasts that its 2026 revenue will remain flat or experience a decline, impacted by business transitions among some of its clients.
The Amsterdam-based group anticipates its 2026 revenue to fall within a range of 495 million to 555 million euros (approximately $586 million to $657 million). This compares to last year's revenue of 555 million euros, which fell short of the compiled analyst consensus expectation of 561 million euros.
Chief Financial Officer Taco Titulaer stated in a news release, "Looking ahead to 2026, the company's revenue will be affected by business transformations at some customers, but this impact is temporary."
He further added that, supported by an "optimized customer structure" and a substantial order book, TomTom expects revenue to return to a growth trajectory in 2027.
Regarding its automotive business segment, the order book grew to 2.4 billion euros by the end of 2025, reaching a record high.
The group projects that revenue for its core positioning technology business in 2026 will be between 435 million and 485 million euros, compared to 482 million euros in 2025. Simultaneously, the operating profit margin for this business is expected to exceed 3%, whereas the figure for 2025 stood at 0%.
