On October 29, the Hohhot Aerospace Industry Cluster Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference was held in Hohhot.

The conference, themed "Building New Quality with Qingcheng, Gathering Aerospace in the Chain," focused on two tracks: the low-altitude economy and commercial space. It released a list of investment attraction project needs and a list of application scenario needs for the aerospace industry cluster to relevant enterprises and investment institutions, identifying a total of 42 key cooperation directions.

The released lists include 32 industrial investment projects and 10 real-world application projects, covering four major cooperation segments: materials and basic components; equipment manufacturing, precision processing, and testing and inspection; supporting services such as aerospace applications, operational services, and technical services; and industry cluster application scenarios.

According to the plan, Hohhot will prioritize the introduction of basic materials projects such as aerospace carbon fiber materials, solid rocket propellants, and fourth-generation semiconductor materials, as well as projects for the production of core components and complete aircraft for drones and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL), the development and production of commercial liquid rocket engines and solid launch vehicles, and the final assembly and integration of small satellites.

Hohhot is 400 kilometers in a straight line from Beijing, has more than 300 flight-capable days per year, is one of China's first pilot cities for large-scale BeiDou applications, and has established the first low-altitude economy academician and expert workstation in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

It is reported that Hohhot's total computing power scale has reached 165,000 P, which can support an integrated digital low-altitude system such as route management and control, as well as aerospace big data processing.

Currently, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has established a 1 billion yuan sub-fund for commercial space and the low-altitude economy, and Hohhot has established various industrial funds totaling 800 million yuan.
