DATANG RENEW Reports 9.96% Drop in Cumulative Power Generation for First Five Months

According to a company announcement, DATANG RENEW (HKEX: 01798) has released preliminary operating statistics.

For the month of May 2026, the group's consolidated power generation amounted to 2.7587 million megawatt-hours, representing a decrease of 9.41% compared to the same period in 2025.

Within this total, wind power generation was 2.3041 million MWh, down by 9.96% year-on-year, while solar power generation reached 454,600 MWh, marking a decline of 6.53%.

For the cumulative period from the beginning of 2026 up to May 31, the group's total power generation reached 14.5464 million MWh.

This cumulative figure reflects a 9.96% decrease compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.

A breakdown shows that cumulative wind power generation was 12.4693 million MWh, falling by 12.89% year-on-year.

In contrast, cumulative solar power generation saw an increase, reaching 2.077 million MWh, which is a rise of 12.85% compared to the first five months of 2025.
