Former US President Donald Trump stated during a campaign event in Wisconsin on June 5th that he and entrepreneur Elon Musk have reconciled their previous differences and are "friends again."
Musk invested heavily in 2024 to help Trump win the presidential election and subsequently served as head of the "Government Efficiency Department" in the Trump administration. However, after Musk left that role, his disagreements with Trump became public, with the two exchanging sharp criticisms.
On September 21, 2025, Trump and Musk were seen together again at an event in Arizona honoring slain conservative influencer Charlie Kirk. Multiple media outlets captured images of them sitting side-by-side, shaking hands, and conversing.
