The 15th China (Guangzhou) International Finance Expo was held from June 3rd to 5th at Area D of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
This year's expo centered on the theme of "Promoting Both Commerce and Industry, Integrating the Two Sectors," and was held concurrently with the Digital Intelligence Equipment and Artificial Intelligence Exhibition.
It aimed to pool key industrial resources, establish a collaborative platform for government, industry, academia, research, and finance, and facilitate the efficient alignment of financial capital with the real economy, injecting strong momentum into Guangzhou's efforts to build an international financial hub for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and construct a modern industrial system.
As a central state-owned financial institution based in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou branch of China Life Insurance Company Limited (601628) participated jointly with China Guangfa Bank.
Focusing on three core areas—comprehensive finance, deep-rooted presence in the Bay Area, and sectoral integration—the company showcased the implementation outcomes of the "five key areas of finance" initiative, insurance services for social security, and innovative practices in using insurance funds to empower the real economy.
The Guangzhou branch of China Life is driving coordinated efforts in inclusive finance, pension finance, tech finance, and green finance, leveraging comprehensive financial services to support the real economy and safeguard public welfare.
By the end of 2025, the company had cumulatively provided over 10 trillion yuan in risk protection for regional livelihoods, served over 6 million clients, and handled over 1.16 million claims annually with a payout amount exceeding 16.43 billion yuan.
In the field of inclusive finance, the company led the operation of Guangzhou's "Sui Sui Kang" commercial supplementary health insurance, which has cumulatively covered over 18.28 million participants, with 970,000 claims paid amounting to 2.7 billion yuan, effectively reducing citizens' medical burdens.
It also operates the national pilot for Guangzhou's long-term care insurance, providing professional administration services for 6.5 million insured individuals.
Initiatives like the "Guangzhou Mothers' Love Plan" have seen over 945,000 participants, and a protection project for childcare institution staff has covered 15,000 people.
The expo focused on the deep integration of manufacturing and modern services, promoting the precise allocation of financial resources to key industries.
It is understood that the Guangzhou branch of China Life closely follows the Guangzhou municipal government's strategic deployment of "Promoting Both Commerce and Industry, Integrating the Two Sectors."
Building on its core insurance business, the company innovates its service models to assist in industrial transformation, upgrading, and the quality improvement of the service sector, fostering a synergistic development ecosystem of "industry + finance."
The branch has increased its insurance support for advanced manufacturing, strategic emerging industries, and other key areas, offering comprehensive risk protection throughout the business process.
It has provided nearly 1 trillion yuan in insurance coverage for over 20,000 small, medium, and micro enterprises, alleviating their risk pressures and stimulating market vitality.
