On August 11, sources reported that the Ning'an Bridge, which has been in service for over 20 years, will undergo a fully enclosed demolition and reconstruction project starting in late September, with a construction period of approximately four months.
To accommodate the long-term construction needs and ensure smooth public transportation for citizens, the Yinchuan Public Transport Company has temporarily adjusted the routes for Bus 109 and Custom Bus 109, which will remain in effect until the bridge reconstruction is completed and reopened to traffic.
1. Temporary Adjustments for Bus 109 and Custom Bus 109
Adjustment of operating routes. The current route runs from the city bus company (starting point) along Minyue Street, Houhai Road, Ning'an Street, Helanshan Road, People's Square West Street (People's Square East Street), Ning'an Street, Wulitai Road, and the original route to Gaoqiao Bus Terminal (end point). The temporary adjustment will reroute it from the city bus company (starting point) along Minyue Street, Houhai Road, Ning'an Street, Helanshan Road, People's Square West Street (People's Square East Street), Ning'an Street, Fengtai Road, Meigao Street, Baohu Road, Ning'an Street, Wulitai Road, and the original route to Gaoqiao Bus Terminal (end point). Note: This adjustment is bidirectional.
Adjustment of bus stops. One stop will be temporarily canceled: Yinchuan City Disabled Persons' Federation West. Four stops will be temporarily added: Yinchuan City Disabled Persons' Federation, Jinfeng District No. 12 Primary School, Meigao Street Fengyue Alley Entrance, and Baohu Road Meigao Street Entrance. During the temporary adjustment period, the first and last bus times remain unchanged. Once the road conditions are suitable for traffic, bus routes will immediately resume their original operations. Passengers are advised to choose reasonable travel times and boarding stations based on their own travel needs.
