The Canadian mining company, which focuses on silver, gold, lead, and zinc production, revealed that Winnie Wang has been appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Wang, who has been with Silvercorp since 2024 and most recently served as CFO of the company's China operations, brings over 15 years of leadership experience in corporate finance, accounting, and financial reporting. This appointment follows the retirement of Derek Liu, who had served as CFO since 2015.
In addition to Wang's appointment, Silvercorp also announced Lei Wu as the new Corporate Controller. Wu, who recently joined the company from New Gold Inc., brings over 14 years of progressive accounting and finance experience in the mining industry.
