HanxBio-B (03378) has announced the official execution of a strategic cooperation framework agreement and an XtalPi Science technology platform licensing agreement with Shenzhen XtalPi Technology Co., Ltd., an independent third party to the company. The agreements aim to explore the application of AI for Science across antibody design, innovative molecule development, and pharmaceutical R&D process optimization.
Under these agreements, HanxBio-B intends to procure and utilize services and usage quotas from XtalPi's XtalPi Science platform based on its actual R&D needs. In return, XtalPi will provide the corresponding platform capabilities and necessary technical support. The collaboration centers on the commercial procurement and application of XtalPi Science products and services, designed to enable HanxBio-B to flexibly deploy advanced artificial intelligence models and computational power across its biopharmaceutical, XDC, and other innovative drug R&D scenarios.
The two parties aim to establish a long-term, stable partnership built on the application of these products and services. The preliminary application scenarios HanxBio-B intends to explore include, but are not limited to: first, leveraging AI models, computational capabilities, and intelligent agents to assist in the design, analysis, and optimization of biopharmaceutical candidate molecules; second, utilizing AI models, computational resources, and intelligent agents to design XDC payloads with specialized functions; and third, deploying AI models, computational power, and intelligent agents for the customized design of other candidate molecules and key functional modules.
At this stage, HanxBio-B will advance the above applications according to its own R&D plans and demands. Specific procurement volumes, service scopes, execution arrangements, and other commercial terms will be determined separately through concrete orders or subsequent agreements based on actual needs. The parties may also further discuss expanding the scale and scope of XtalPi Science service utilization as business requirements evolve.
This collaboration is expected to optimize HanxBio-B's biopharmaceutical screening and molecule optimization workflows, potentially enhancing R&D efficiency and success rates while shortening development timelines and reducing costs. It is also anticipated to accelerate the company's progress in first-in-class and best-in-class drug development. The resulting advancements are set to enrich HanxBio-B's R&D pipeline, strengthen its technological advantages and core competitiveness, and provide robust support for long-term growth and sustainable operations.
