According to a notice from the National Development and Reform Commission, refined oil product prices will be raised, effective from 24:00 on July 17, with Shanghai implementing the adjustment simultaneously.
The new price for 92-octane gasoline will be 7.38 yuan per liter, while 95-octane gasoline will be priced at 7.85 yuan per liter. The price for 0-grade diesel is set at 7.05 yuan per liter.
Based on an estimate for a typical family car with a 50-liter fuel tank, the cost to fill up with 92-octane gasoline will increase by approximately 12 yuan.
It is noted that prices for 98-octane gasoline are determined independently by fuel retailers.
The listed gasoline and diesel prices comply with the mandatory National Standard VI-B for motor gasoline and National Standard VI for motor diesel.
