Suzhou Maxwell Technologies Co., Ltd. (300751.SZ) announced that its subsidiary, Chenwei Equipment Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., intends to sign an investment agreement with the Management Committee of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The subsidiary plans to invest in the construction of a "Semiconductor Equipment Research, Development, and Manufacturing Project," which will primarily focus on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of intelligent high-end equipment for the semiconductor production sector. The total planned investment is 15 billion yuan, to be funded through the company's own capital and self-raised funds.

The investment in the semiconductor equipment project is expected to help Chenwei Equipment further concentrate on the development, production, and sale of advanced smart equipment for semiconductor manufacturing. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the subsidiary's technological capabilities and production capacity within the semiconductor equipment industry, thereby strengthening its core competitiveness. Additionally, the investment will support the company in improving its industrial layout in the semiconductor equipment field, boosting its overall strength and market position.

Leveraging the favorable industrial environment and policy support offered by the Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the project is anticipated to proceed smoothly and achieve long-term growth, opening up new avenues for business expansion for Chenwei Equipment.
