The predecessor of Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlay Co., Ltd. was the Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlay Factory. The Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlay Art Museum is a non-heritage-themed museum built on the foundation of the company. Beijing Gold Lacquer Inlay, in its master-apprentice system, craft techniques, and artistic style, directly inherits and develops the imperial court art of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
