From December 12 to 14, the 2025 Greater Bay Area Agricultural Products Trade Fair and Specialty Goods Expo was held at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The Gansu Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade organized 16 local specialty agricultural enterprises to participate, showcasing high-quality Gansu products under the "Ganwei" brand. The event aimed to integrate these products into the Greater Bay Area market and expand their global presence, yielding significant results.
The expo, themed "Promoting Agricultural Products' Integration into the Greater Bay Area and Global Markets to Boost Rural Revitalization," attracted over 600 exhibitors, 1,000 buyers, and 20,000 visitors, covering a total exhibition area exceeding 20,000 square meters.
The Gansu exhibition zone featured a diverse range of regional specialties, including apple juice, Tianzhu white yak beef, plateau millet, Gangu chili peppers, Dunhuang red dates, and Subei snow mountain lamb. Participating enterprises spanned the entire agricultural supply chain, from production to processing and sales, including provincial-level key agricultural firms with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion yuan, as well as SMEs and cooperatives focused on local specialty development. The exhibits ranged from traditional products to processed foods, medicinal foods, and organic products, highlighting Gansu's agricultural industrialization and branding achievements, drawing considerable attention from buyers and visitors.
During the expo, the Gansu delegation engaged with over 650 domestic and international clients, generating on-site sales exceeding 200,000 yuan and securing intended cooperation agreements worth more than 18 million yuan. Notably, Gansu Xinsentai Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.'s "Gangu Yilv Hong" apples won the "Most Popular Product Award" for their superior quality and unique flavor. The Gansu Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade was honored with the "Outstanding Organization Award" for its effective coordination and outstanding results.
This participation marked a key step in Gansu's rural revitalization strategy and the "Ganwei" brand's expansion into the Greater Bay Area and global markets. By facilitating producer-buyer connections, the event enhanced the brand recognition and market competitiveness of Gansu's agricultural products while laying a solid foundation for enterprises to explore opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and beyond. The Gansu Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade will continue to serve as a bridge, supporting the global outreach of Gansu's agricultural products and contributing to the province's high-quality agricultural development and comprehensive rural revitalization.
