DAMAI ENT announced the launch of its new business brand, the global event service platform "MAISEAT," which provides ticketing and event services for concerts, sports events, music festivals, theater performances, and other popular shows worldwide. MAISEAT will also facilitate overseas event projects, offering comprehensive service support for domestic and international performance teams with global touring needs.
Currently, the MAISEAT official website is live, supporting multiple languages including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. It integrates Alipay's global payment network, enabling multi-currency transactions. MAISEAT plans to roll out an Alipay international mini-program and a standalone app in the future. Unlike DAMAI ENT, which primarily serves domestic users and the Greater China market, MAISEAT focuses on global audiences and overseas event markets. Essentially, MAISEAT is the "international version" of DAMAI ENT, sharing the same brand DNA, technology, and service capabilities while tailoring solutions for different markets.
"Alibaba Group's robust technology, resources, and ecosystem support, combined with DAMAI ENT's over two decades of experience in the event industry, give MAISEAT a strong competitive edge in global expansion," said Zheng Xiaobo, head of MAISEAT. DAMAI ENT has developed a highly replicable operational model, with Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea as the initial markets for its international strategy. "We aim to bring our proven ticketing solutions and technical expertise from China to overseas markets, serving global event organizers and audiences while becoming the preferred platform for cross-border event experiences."
