In pancreatic cancer, the KRAS mutation rate is approximately 95%, while the MTAP deletion rate is about 20%, making the overlapping patient population relatively easy to identify.
In lung adenocarcinoma, the KRAS mutation rate is around 30% in Western populations and roughly 10% in Chinese populations. When combined with MTAP deletions, the target population becomes significantly smaller.
The company intends to conduct exploratory research in lung cancer, while for other tumor types, priority will be determined primarily based on the overlap rate of the two mutations and early clinical signals.
