The real average hourly earnings for May showed a year-on-year decline of 0.7%.

Compared to the previous month, real average hourly earnings in May decreased by 0.1%.

In dollar terms, real average weekly earnings were $385.44 in May, representing a drop of $1.55 from the previous year.
