Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Reports Vessel Attack in Strait of Hormuz Area

Deep News08-08

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) reported that one of its vessels was hit by a missile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz in the early hours of Saturday, as per UAE media outlets. The incident resulted in no casualties, and the situation has been stabilized.

Furthermore, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack on the ADNOC vessel, alleging that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool for pressure and "economic blackmail," labeling it as "piracy." This action, they stated, poses a direct threat to regional stability and global energy security, calling for the strait to be fully and unconditionally opened.
