Additionally, Quanex posted a robust gross margin of 28.1% and generated $66.6 million in free cash flow during the quarter.

For the full year, Quanex reported net sales of $1.8 billion, reflecting a 44% year-over-year increase. The strong financial performance, coupled with improved operational metrics, has fueled investor optimism, driving the stock's sharp rise in after-hours trading.
