A suitcase containing gold jewelry valued at more than 100,000 yuan went missing after it fell out of a bus’s luggage compartment on the Qingdao section of the Qinglan Expressway. The incident occurred on the morning of January 8, around 8 a.m., when a passenger discovered the luggage compartment had opened while the bus was en route to the Wangtai South Expressway Service Area.
The passenger, in a state of panic, reported that the lost suitcase held gold accessories worth over 100,000 yuan. Upon arriving at the Wangtai South Toll Station, the individual urgently sought assistance from on-site staff.
Responding swiftly to the call for help, Chen Jiayuan and Lian Jinsheng, road management personnel from the Huangdao Road Management Center under Shandong Expressway Qingdao Development Co., Ltd., immediately began a search along the expressway. In less than five minutes, they successfully located the suitcase.
