The decline in the ChiNext Index has expanded to 2%, while the Shanghai Composite Index fell 2.23%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 2.34%, and the STAR Market Composite Index tumbled 3.44%. More than 4,100 stocks declined across the two exchanges.
