On Tuesday, the three major US stock indices closed collectively lower. The Hang Seng Index ADR also declined; on a proportional basis, it closed at 26,231.26 points, representing an increase of 256.22 points or 0.97% compared to its Hong Kong close. Most major blue-chip stocks recorded losses. HSBC Holdings PLC closed at HKD 141.963, down 1.21% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holding Ltd. closed at HKD 509.808, a decrease of 1.77% from its Hong Kong session close.
