Japanese stock markets may experience a decline as investors take profits, following a record closing high for the benchmark index on Thursday. Domestic technology shares could also face pressure from an overnight drop in the Nasdaq Composite Index, as strong results from Micron Technology failed to lift the broader tech sector. On the Singapore Exchange, Nikkei futures are down by 785 points, trading at 71,615. The Nikkei index had surged 4.6% on Thursday, closing at 72,366.34 points.
