Several Firms Issue Negative Announcements Over the Weekend

Over the weekend, a number of publicly traded companies issued negative announcements.

First, Xiangcai Co.,Ltd. (600095.SH) announced that its subsidiary, Xiangcai Securities, received a "Case Filing Notice" from the China Securities Regulatory Commission on July 31, 2026. The notice indicates that Xiangcai Securities is being investigated for allegedly violating provisions of the "Measures for the Administration of Securities Brokerage Business" regarding account real-name verification and other regulations. Xiangcai Securities stated it will actively cooperate with the relevant work, and both the company and its subsidiary are operating normally.

Byd Company Limited (002594.SZ) released its production and sales data for July 2026. In July, the company produced 420,200 new energy vehicles (NEVs) and sold 419,200 units. Of these, passenger vehicle sales reached 411,100 units, including 233,100 pure electric vehicles and 178,000 plug-in hybrid vehicles. Commercial vehicle sales totaled 8,139 units. For the year to date, cumulative NEV sales stand at 2,227,700 units, a decrease of 10.54% compared to the same period last year.

China Baoan Group Co.,Ltd. (000009.SZ), which has seen its stock price hit the daily upward limit for two consecutive trading days (July 30 and 31), reported that the closing price deviation exceeded 20%, constituting abnormal stock trading volatility. During this period, the company's largest shareholder, Chengxing Investment, increased its stake by purchasing 41.2708 million shares via centralized bidding transactions, representing 1.6001% of the company's total share capital.

Chaoyang Technology disclosed its semi-annual report, posting revenue of 804 million yuan for the first half of 2026, down 8.03% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders fell sharply by 85.87% to 7.4107 million yuan, with basic earnings per share of 0.055 yuan.

Huazhijie also released its semi-annual report, showing revenue of 674 million yuan for the first half of 2026, a decline of 3.60% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders decreased by 46.78% to 44.2528 million yuan, with basic earnings per share of 0.34 yuan.
