Jiangsu Zhangjiagang Rural Commercial Bank Expands Business Scope to Include Public Fund Sales

On November 20, Jiangsu Zhangjiagang Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. announced that it had received approval from the Suzhou Financial Regulatory Bureau to amend its articles of association (Approval No.: Suzhou Jin Fu [2025] No. 193, Announcement No.: 2025-029). The bank has recently completed the registration changes to its business license, adding the sales of publicly offered securities investment funds to its business scope. The updated license has been issued by the Suzhou Data Bureau.

The revised business scope now includes: - Taking deposits from the public; - Granting short-term, medium-term, and long-term loans; - Handling domestic and international settlements; - Processing bill acceptance and discounting; - Acting as an agent for collections, payments, and insurance services; - Underwriting and acting as an agent for government bond issuance and redemption; - Trading government bonds and financial bonds; - Engaging in interbank lending; - Providing safe deposit box services; - Issuing debit cards; - Foreign currency deposits and loans; - Foreign exchange remittances and currency exchange; - Settlement and sale of foreign exchange; - Credit investigation, consulting, and certification services; - Other businesses approved by banking regulators. Additionally, the licensed business now includes the sales of publicly offered securities investment funds.

The bank clarified that no other registration details have been altered. It has also completed the industrial and commercial filing procedures for the revised articles of association.
