On April 28, YIDU TECH (02158) issued a voluntary announcement stating that its affiliated company, Yidu Cloud (Beijing) Technology Ltd., has won the bid for the PIONEER2 clinical trial SMO (Site Management Organization) technical service project at The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. The total contract value is approximately 4.1 million yuan. This is not the first collaboration between the two parties. As early as 2022, another affiliated company of YIDU TECH—Tianjin Happy Life Technology Co., Ltd.—had secured the technical service project for the PIONEER study at the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health, with a contract value of 5.855 million yuan. That project was jointly initiated by the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health, the National Center for Respiratory Medicine, and the National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Disease, aiming to conduct early intervention research for patients with mild to moderate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Two years later, YIDU TECH has again won the bid for the upgraded project, PIONEER2, part of the same series. This achievement signifies a deep, ongoing partnership with a key client in the field of respiratory disease clinical research, fully demonstrating the company's professional expertise and service reputation in this specialized segment. It also marks the continued trust and repeat business from nationally recognized authoritative institutions. Alongside these business breakthroughs, YIDU TECH has reached a significant profitability milestone. On April 20, the company issued a positive profit alert, forecasting a net profit of 55 million to 70 million yuan for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. This represents the first annual profit since the company's establishment 11 years ago. According to the announcement, this key turning point is primarily attributed to the ongoing enhancement of the company's products through the integration of AI capabilities, which has driven significant growth in new orders for core business segments and a notable improvement in gross margin. In related news, at the recent China Hospital Information Network Conference (CHIMA 2026), YIDU TECH launched its AI Hospital solution. This includes a medical intelligence agent development and collaboration plan, the new-generation Yidu Smart Management operational data center, and the creation of high-quality datasets based on specialized disease databases for research.
