The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released its 2025 list of typical artificial intelligence application cases, with 14 projects from Zhejiang Province making the cut. Among them, Huaxin (Jiaxing) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., based in Pinghu, has been named the only enterprise from Jiaxing to earn this distinction.

So what exactly is Huaxin, and how did it manage to break into a national-level list? Let's take a closer look.

A Pinghu firm that has shattered overseas technology monopolies, Huaxin (Jiaxing) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. is a tech-innovative enterprise specializing in the independent research, development, production, sales, and after-sales maintenance of AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems), wafer automated handling equipment, and key components. As the only domestic AMHS supplier to have completed delivery for 12-inch advanced process nodes in China, Huaxin Intelligence has long been dedicated to the domestic substitution of semiconductor intelligent equipment, with multiple core components developed in-house, breaking a technological monopoly held overseas for three decades.

This time, the AI-driven integrated circuit material transmission system (AMHS system) developed by Huaxin (Jiaxing) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. has been selected as a national-level typical case of artificial intelligence application. AI is now profoundly reshaping AMHS systems in semiconductor fabs, moving beyond the limitations of traditional logistics that could only passively execute transport tasks. By connecting data across production, logistics, and equipment operations, AI injects intelligent decision-making into the core functions of AMHS, enabling dynamic route optimization and real-time congestion forecasting, boosting OHT scheduling efficiency by over 20%. It also works in deep coordination with CIM and MES systems, dramatically reducing empty travel rates and wait times.

Today's AMHS is no longer just the "logistics artery" of a factory, but is gradually evolving into an intelligent agent with autonomous perception and continuous learning capabilities, shifting from "passive execution" to "active optimization." This allows wafer fabs to push capacity further even under full-load conditions, becoming a key pillar for semiconductor manufacturing's progression toward higher-level intelligent evolution.
