Nexteer Announces Senior Leadership Realignment: Robin Milavec Elevated to Global COO, Jun Li Steps in as CTO

Nexteer Automotive Group Limited (Nexteer) released a voluntary announcement dated 19 May 2026 outlining key senior management changes effective 16 May 2026.

Robin Zane Milavec, currently an Executive Director and President, has been appointed Global Chief Operating Officer. With this move, Milavec relinquishes his Chief Technology Officer responsibilities while retaining his positions as Executive Director and President.

Jun Li, Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and APAC Divisional President, assumes the role of Chief Technology Officer. Li will now concurrently hold four titles: Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Technology Officer and APAC Divisional President.

Milavec, 58, brings 36 years of automotive experience spanning product engineering, manufacturing, operations and quality. He joined Nexteer’s Board in June 2020, became President in August 2021 and previously served as interim Global COO from January to May 2026. He holds engineering degrees from New Mexico State University and the University of Michigan.

Li, 53, offers 28 years of industry experience, having led Nexteer’s APAC division since 2017 and overseen global strategic planning and M&A scouting since November 2025. His academic credentials include a mechanical engineering diploma from Huazhong University of Science & Technology and an MBA from the University of Electronic Science & Technology of China.

Following these changes, Nexteer’s Board comprises Executive Directors Fengtao Ding (Chairman & CEO) and Robin Milavec, Non-Executive Directors Zili Lei, Wendong Zhang and Kun Qiao, and Independent Non-Executive Directors Jianjun Liu, Bin Wang and Yun Yue.
