Shanghai Industrial Holdings (00363) announced that on January 14, 2026, the company entered into a Financial Services Agreement with SIIC Finance. The agreement stipulates that member companies of the group will appoint SIIC Finance to provide deposit services, credit services, and other financial services for a term not exceeding three years.
The Board of Directors considers the utilization of financial services provided by SIIC Finance under the agreement to be advantageous for several reasons: the group can obtain financial services on terms, including interest rates, that are no less favorable than those available from other major independent commercial banks or financial institutions; the preferential interest rates on deposits can enhance the return on the group's surplus funds; the service fees and charges levied by SIIC Finance are competitive and cost-effective, with favorable service fees for related fund settlement, collection and payment services, and other financial services helping to reduce the group's financial costs; the interest rates offered by SIIC Finance are competitive, and the preferential rates for related credit services can also reduce the group's financial costs.
For the three fiscal years ending December 31, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and for the period from January 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025, SIIC Finance has consistently maintained robust capital adequacy and liquidity ratios. Since its establishment in 2014, SIIC Finance has not recorded any non-performing loans.
During the term of the Financial Services Agreement, the group's portfolio of primary banks and/or financial institutions will become more diversified. It is anticipated that the group's use of the financial services provided by SIIC Finance will generate further synergies, fostering a deeper understanding and stronger connection with SIIC Finance, thereby enabling access to more convenient and efficient services compared to those offered by other commercial banks or financial institutions.
