Boeing (BA.US) shares advanced more than 5% on Wednesday, trading at $209.31. The catalyst for the move was an announcement on April 1st from the Pentagon, which stated it had reached a framework agreement with Boeing and Lockheed Martin to triple the production capacity for the PAC-3 MSE missile seeker. In a separate development on the same day, the CEO of Ryanair commented that Boeing has demonstrated significant improvements in both the quality and timeliness of its production.
