CITIC Bank held its third-quarter 2026 earnings briefing today, according to a financial news report on November 3.

The head of the asset-liability department stated that CITIC BANK (ASX: 0998 / SEHK: 0998 / SSE: 601998) will dynamically adjust its full-year credit growth plan in line with market conditions and changes in business demand, striving to achieve its operating targets.

Turning to next year's new allocation plan, the official said the bank is currently formulating its 2027 asset-liability management plan. The overall approach will continue to focus on optimizing the business structure to enhance the quality and efficiency of serving the real economy and to promote its own sustainable development.

Among the considerations, lending business is expected to both align with national policy orientations and offer relatively advantageous returns, and will therefore remain an important direction for the bank's large-scale asset allocation.
