Upcoming Fuel Price Adjustment Announced for September 11

Deep News09-07 23:20

Based on the established pricing mechanism for refined oil products, the next adjustment window is scheduled to open at midnight on September 11. As of September 7, there are only four days remaining before the 18th domestic fuel price revision of 2026, with the current pricing cycle already more than halfway through its calculation period.

Current projections indicate that gasoline and diesel prices are expected to rise by 160 yuan per tonne and 155 yuan per tonne, respectively. When converted to costs at the pump, this translates to an estimated increase of 0.13 yuan per litre for 92-octane gasoline, 0.14 yuan per litre for 95-octane gasoline, and 0.13 yuan per litre for 0-grade diesel.

For a typical family car with a 50-litre fuel tank, the upcoming adjustment means that a full refill will cost approximately 6.5 to 7 yuan more than before. Motorists are advised to plan their refuelling accordingly ahead of the price change taking effect.
