Weigao Group Buys Back 360,000 H-Shares for HKD 1.13 Million, Treasury Stock Rises to 65.35 Million

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (Weigao Group) repurchased 360,000 H-shares on 16 September 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, paying an aggregate HKD 1.13 million. The shares were bought at prices ranging between HKD 3.11 and HKD 3.14, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 3.13 per share.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.0081% to 4.46 billion shares, while the treasury-share balance increased to 65.35 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 4.52 billion. Treasury shares now represent approximately 1.45% of the company’s total outstanding shares.

The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 29 May 2026, which authorises Weigao Group to buy back up to 446.46 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate have reached 8.02 million shares, equal to 1.80% of the outstanding share base on the mandate’s approval date, leaving authorisation for a further 438.44 million shares.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 17 October 2026, 30 days after the latest buyback.
