China Aluminum Cans repurchases 10.00 million shares (1.06% stake) for HK$8.45 million

China Aluminum Cans Holdings Limited completed an on-market buyback of 10.00 million ordinary shares on 7 July 2026, paying between HK$0.84 and HK$0.85 per share. The transaction represented 1.06% of the company’s 944.05 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) outstanding as of 30 June 2026 and cost HK$8.45 million in total.

The repurchased shares are designated for cancellation and have not yet been removed from the register; consequently, the company’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 944.05 million shares as of the same date. The buyback was executed under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 22 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 94.40 million shares. Including this transaction, 10.00 million shares, or 10.59% of the mandate limit, have been utilised.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirements, China Aluminum Cans is restricted from issuing new shares or selling any treasury shares until 7 August 2026, 30 days after the repurchase date.
