MEITU Shares Surge Over 5% in Late Trading Following Strong April Overseas Revenue Growth

Stock News05-26

MEITU (01357) saw its shares rise more than 5% in late trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 4.46%, trading at HK$4.68 with a turnover of HK$399 million.

The movement follows a UBS report indicating that the company's overseas total revenue from its applications increased by 42% year-over-year in April 2026. Multiple products demonstrated robust growth in international markets, with the overseas revenue for the product Wink nearly doubling during the month.

The report further highlighted that while MEITU's applications also posted significant total revenue growth in mainland China for April, the growth in overseas markets was comparatively stronger.

Analysts at China Securities noted that recent upgrades to products like Robo Neo and Kaipai are moving towards Agentic AI, enabling autonomous planning, proactive action, and self-review operational cycles. Combined with the company's deep focus on vertical scenarios such as beauty, real estate, and insurance, Agentic AI is expected to boost demand for productivity applications. This, in turn, is anticipated to generate substantial token demand, potentially unlocking new commercial avenues through subscription services and incremental packages like Meidou/Luobo.
