Moutai Denounces False Rumors on Social Media: Public Links for 1499 Yuan Feitian Moutai Are All Fabricated

On January 18, Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. officially issued an announcement, specifically naming two social media accounts for spreading false information. Recently, online platforms have once again seen entities fraudulently using Moutai's name to publish deceptive investment information, such as "opening direct supply channels for enterprises," "enterprise application for 1499 Yuan Feitian, click the link for details," "official Feitian Moutai application portal," "no need for bundled purchases, click the link to apply immediately," and "1499 Yuan enterprise application channel." All such content constitutes false advertising and carries risks of misleading consumers, or even fraud.

The company has never authorized or entrusted any entity to release the aforementioned information. Currently, the company's self-operated stores in various provinces and regions are signing 2026 sales contracts with existing corporate group purchase clients through offline communication, which involves qualification reviews and contract signing. They do not accept applications directly via public links or social media.

All market participants and consumers are kindly reminded to identify official channels correctly and remain vigilant against false investment solicitations. The company is actively cooperating with relevant authorities in the investigation and handling of these false investment activities and will pursue the legal liability of the responsible entities according to law, aiming to effectively maintain market order and protect consumer rights.

Previously, some of Moutai's directly operated stores in certain provinces had opened applications for 1499 Yuan per bottle Feitian Moutai (53% vol, 500ml) to enterprises that met specific tax payment thresholds. Qualified enterprises applying for the standard-price Feitian Moutai were no longer required to purchase other non-standard Moutai products as part of a bundle.

A relevant person from Moutai's sales company stated to the "Alcohol Industry Insider" that "the self-operated stores are currently signing 2026 sales contracts with existing corporate group purchase clients. The products sold are selected based on the consumption needs of these corporate group purchase clients (including flagship products like the 500ml Feitian Kweichow Moutai). Currently, this is only available to existing corporate group purchase clients and is not open to new corporate customers."
