Fuel Prices to Rise From Midnight July 31, Costing 27.5 Yuan More to Fill a 92-Octane Tank

Starting at midnight on July 31, the price of refined oil products in Hunan Province will rise, according to an official notice from the provincial Development and Reform Commission. For a standard 50-liter family car, filling up with 92-octane gasoline will cost an additional 27.5 yuan.

In this adjustment, the price of gasoline (standard product) and diesel (standard product) will increase by 685 yuan per ton and 655 yuan per ton, respectively. Specifically, in Hunan Province, 92-octane gasoline will rise to 7.92 yuan per liter, up by 0.55 yuan; 95-octane gasoline will reach 8.41 yuan per liter, up by 0.57 yuan; and 0# diesel will be priced at 7.70 yuan per liter, up by 0.56 yuan.

This price hike marks the second consecutive increase in domestic refined oil prices and the tenth increase this year. Analysts predict that crude oil prices will remain volatile in the short term, with the change rate likely fluctuating negatively. The next adjustment window for fuel prices is scheduled to open at midnight on August 14.
