Continental Aerospace Technologies: Weiss Asset Management Discloses 4.55 Million-Share Derivative Contract Amid Proposed Delisting

Continental Aerospace Technologies Holding Limited released a Public Disclosure Form on 18 August 2026 in connection with its proposed delisting. The filing was made under Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers.

Weiss Asset Management LP, identified as a Class (6) associate of the offeree company, reported that on 17 August 2026 it entered into a derivative contract referencing 4.55 million shares of Continental Aerospace Technologies. The contract carries a reference price of USD 0.4550 per share and is scheduled to mature on 15 December 2026.

The transaction involved a total consideration of USD 2.07 million, resulting in Weiss Asset Management’s aggregate position rising to 763.08 million shares.

According to the disclosure, the dealings were executed for discretionary investment clients. Weiss Asset Management LP is ultimately owned by Andrew Murray Weiss.
