Embraer S.A. (EMBJ) shares surged 5.88% in pre-market trading Monday, as investors cheered a stellar second-quarter earnings report that handily beat analyst expectations and an upward revision to the company's full-year profitability outlook.

The Brazilian planemaker reported Q2 earnings of $1.19 per American depositary share, nearly double the $0.62 consensus estimate from FactSet. Revenue jumped 23% year-over-year to an all-time second-quarter record of $2.24 billion, sailing past the $2.01 billion analysts had forecast. The strong results were driven by deliveries of 65 aircraft, including 20 commercial jets and 45 executive jets, and a 16% increase in the firm order backlog to a record $34.5 billion.

Adding to the bullish sentiment, Embraer raised its 2026 adjusted EBIT margin guidance to a range of 10.0% to 10.6%, up from the previous 8.7% to 9.3%. The company also doubled its adjusted free cash flow forecast to at least $400 million, from $200 million or higher previously. The guidance boost reflects a mix of a one-time tax credit, an exemption from certain U.S. import tariffs, and an improved business outlook. Revenue guidance for the year was maintained at $8.2 billion to $8.5 billion.
