China Aoyuan Issues 0.01% New Shares After Convertible Bond Conversion

Hong Kong-listed developer China Aoyuan Group Limited added 505,509 ordinary shares to its issued share capital on 8 October 2026 following the conversion of its mandatory convertible bonds due 2028, originally issued on 20 March 2024.

The new shares represent approximately 0.011% of China Aoyuan’s pre-event share base. Issued at HKD 0.66 apiece, the additional shares lift the company’s outstanding share count from 4.71 billion to 4.71 billion, specifically from 4,710.78 million to 4,711.29 million shares.

No treasury-share movements, share buybacks or redemptions were reported. The company confirmed that the conversion was duly authorised by the board and executed in full compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules and relevant regulatory requirements.
