VGT (02476) surged nearly 17% in late trading. By the time of writing, the stock was up 16.41% to HK$403, with a turnover of HK$3.379 billion. The catalyst for the move is news that Nvidia is expected to begin shipments of its Vera Rubin chip in the third fiscal quarter. Morgan Stanley released a research note stating that in Nvidia's upcoming next-generation Vera Rubin rack (VR200), the PCB cost has seen a massive increase of over 233% compared to the GB300. This will drive the total PCB consumption value to approximately $117,000, compared to just $35,000 for the GB300. Dongguan Securities noted that VGT possesses leading high-end PCB technology for AI computing power. With strong technical, product, and delivery capabilities, the company has gained recognition from numerous customers and plans to expand the supply scale of core products such as GPU accelerator cards and TPU supporting boards this year. As new production capacity is gradually brought online, the company's available high-end capacity is expected to grow further, customer orders are anticipated to accelerate, and it stands to fully benefit from the AI PCB wave.
