BUTONG GROUP Added to Hang Seng Index Series Constituents

BUTONG GROUP (06090) has announced that, based on the quarterly review results of the Hang Seng Index Series released by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited on February 13, 2026, the company has been selected as a constituent of the Hang Seng Composite Index and the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Index, among other series. The changes will take effect on March 9, 2026.

The Hang Seng Composite Index serves as a comprehensive benchmark for the Hong Kong market, covering the top 95% of listed companies by cumulative market capitalization on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. It is widely used as a benchmark for index funds, mutual funds, and investment performance evaluation. Inclusion in the Hang Seng Composite Index will make the company's shares eligible for trading through the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect programs, which facilitate share trading between investors in Hong Kong and mainland China.

According to the review results from Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited, the company will also be included in several other indices under the Hang Seng Index Series. These include the Hang Seng Composite Industry Index - Non-Consumer Staples, the Hang Seng Composite MidCap & SmallCap Index, the Hang Seng Composite SmallCap Index, the Hang Seng SmallCap (Investable) Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong MidCap & SmallCap Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong SmallCap Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Non-Consumer Staples Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Non-Consumer Staples (Investable) Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Consumer (Investable) Index, and the Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Mainland Companies Index.
