Recently, the "Tech Shenzhen, Philanthropic Future" Shenzhen Technology Public Welfare Innovation Symposium was successfully held at the Yuehai International Enterprise Service Exchange Center. During the event, Sunwoda Electronic Co.,Ltd. donated 5 million yuan to the Shenzhen Guangming Zhiyuan Technology Foundation to support foundational research in biomedicine, tackle cutting-edge scientific challenges, and cultivate young scientific research talent.
The event was hosted by the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Sciences, co-organized by the Shenzhen Guangming Zhiyuan Technology Foundation and the Yuehai International Enterprise Service Exchange Center, and supported by the Shenzhen Foundation Development Promotion Association. Attendees included key officials from Shenzhen's civil affairs and technology innovation bureaus, along with academic leaders such as Yan Ning, founding president of the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Sciences, and Zhang Qifa, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Representatives from over 30 Shenzhen enterprises and industry organizations, including Sunwoda, were present at the gathering.
Speaking on behalf of the donating companies, Yuan Huiqiong, Vice President of Sunwoda and Executive Chairman of the Shenzhen Sunwoda Charity Foundation, stated that having been rooted in Shenzhen for three decades, the company firmly believes that fundamental research is the cornerstone of technological innovation and the core foundation for a company's steady development.
