Deep News12-10

At 4:30 AM on December 10, 2025, after 240 minutes of intensive work by construction teams, the signal interlocking system upgrade at Dafeng West Station on the Xinchang Railway was successfully activated. The project was executed by Shanghai Electrification Branch of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group.

Located in Dafeng District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, Dafeng West Station serves as a crucial freight hub in northern Jiangsu's railway network. This modernization marks the station's entry into intelligent signal control, strengthening logistics capabilities for the Yangtze River Delta's northern corridor.

To maintain uninterrupted freight operations during construction, the project team leveraged three specialized task forces - Party Member Pioneers, Worker Pioneers, and Youth Shock Teams. Core equipment installation was conducted during the 00:30-3:00 AM maintenance window, with daytime operations limited to real-time monitoring of construction zones.

The complex upgrade involved: - 32 outdoor track sections - 20 signal machines - 11 switch points - 47 junction boxes - 34 track cases - 20 terminal boxes All installations achieved zero-error performance, including successful indoor-outdoor linkage tests and commissioning of new computerized interlocking equipment.

This milestone paves the way for the full operational launch of the Dafeng Port railway branch line, demonstrating significant progress in signaling system implementation.
