Minieye Technology Co., Ltd (MINIEYE) has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with SHENZHEN LDROBOT CO., LTD (LDROBOT) to jointly advance “Physical AI” solutions that integrate autonomous-driving expertise with embodied-robot capabilities.
Under the agreement, the partners will pursue five core workstreams:
1. Physical AI foundation: MINIEYE contributes its end-to-end autonomous-driving large-model algorithms and multimodal interaction technology, while LDROBOT provides spatial-perception models and full-stack robot R&D. Together they will develop world models designed for general physical intelligence.
2. Product matrix: The companies will co-create integrated software-and-hardware offerings for last-mile delivery, industrial parks, smart communities and logistics hubs. Joint efforts include an end-to-end multimodal interaction large model targeting “empathy, real-time response and anthropomorphism” to underpin new robot products with emotional-value features.
3. Scenario implementation: Initial demonstration sites will be launched in Shenzhen and Changsha—cities where MINIEYE’s driverless vehicles already operate. These bases will showcase a “driverless vehicle + robot” unmanned logistics chain and establish replicable deployment models.
4. Data and resource synergy: A unified vehicle-robot data pipeline will be built, merging indoor, outdoor, structured and unstructured scenario data into a shared closed-loop system. The partners will co-establish high-fidelity simulation environments, formulate common data standards and explore a unified governance framework to accelerate algorithm iteration.
5. Future development agreements: Detailed product roadmaps will be set out in subsequent cooperative development agreements.
Strategic rationale
MINIEYE’s strengths in L2+ to L4 autonomous driving, vehicle-grade mass production and multimodal interaction complement LDROBOT’s expertise in spatial perception and embodied-robot productization. The collaboration aims to move Physical AI from laboratory research to scalable commercial applications, broaden use cases for driverless vehicles and service robots, and build a global ecosystem spanning sensors, chips and scenario operators.
