Super Hi International Holding (09658) has released its second-quarter results for 2026, recording revenue of approximately $219 million, a 10.0% increase year-over-year. The company attributable to owners posted a loss of $1.898 million, marking a swing to loss from a profit in the same period last year.
Revenue from Haidilao restaurant operations reached approximately $198 million, up 4.6% compared with the second quarter of 2025. This growth was primarily driven by two factors: first, the continuous implementation of operational optimization measures has significantly boosted restaurant performance, with improvements in overall average table turnover rates and increased customer traffic, further strengthening brand influence; and second, the ongoing expansion of the restaurant network has increased the total number of stores compared with the same period last year.
The company attributed the swing to loss primarily to a net exchange loss that increased by $20.6 million year-over-year in the quarter, mainly due to foreign exchange volatility, particularly the depreciation of local currencies against the U.S. dollar.
Super Hi International Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Mr. Li Yu, commented: "Thanks to the continued advancement of our 'focus on employees and customers' strategy, a series of initiatives and investments in employee, customer, and store management over the past year have further solidified our operational foundation, gradually translating into stronger operational resilience and higher operational efficiency."
"In the second quarter of 2026, the company's overall revenue grew 10.0% year-over-year to $218.8 million. Our operating margin reached 3.7%, up 1.8 percentage points year-over-year, reflecting further improvements in operational efficiency. During the period, both the overall average table turnover rate and same-store average table turnover rate for Haidilao restaurants improved by 0.1 times per day year-over-year, while restaurant revenue grew 4.6% year-over-year. Concurrently, the company continued to diversify its revenue streams, with combined revenue from delivery and other businesses surging 114.3% year-over-year, further enriching our business mix and providing new momentum for growth."
