    Traditional ice manufacturers have to scale down and retool their ice manufacturing at the same time while scaling up r & d of new ev models.  Both are big and expensive tasks.

      Yes, agreed. However Mark Fields missed the point - not only Tesla feels the pressure, but everyone in the auto industry. Tesla has put in so much innovation to EV and the rest simply have to catch up
