DATANG POWER (00991) Entrusts BANK OF CHINA to Provide RMB 600 Million Loan to Subsidiary Chaozhou Power

DATANG POWER (00991) announced that on December 19, 2025, the company, Chaozhou Power, and BANK OF CHINA signed an entrusted loan agreement. Under the agreement, DATANG POWER agreed to entrust BANK OF CHINA to provide an entrusted loan of RMB 600 million to Chaozhou Power, its subsidiary.

Chaozhou Power is responsible for the construction and operation of the Datang Chaozhou Power Plant Units 5-6 project, with a total investment of RMB 8.394 billion. The two units are expected to commence operations in November 2026 and January 2027, respectively. Upon completion, the project will enhance energy supply capacity in Guangdong Province and optimize the power generation structure.

The project has been included in the special bond-supported project list approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC). It aligns with national investment requirements for "dual priorities" and "dual new initiatives" projects, qualifying for key special bond funding support. The loan application complies with the utilization criteria for special bonds aimed at stabilizing growth and expanding investment.

To actively implement national macroeconomic policies in strategic areas, DATANG POWER has arranged the entrusted loan to provide special bond funding to Chaozhou Power, ensuring financial support for the project's construction and accelerating its progress. This initiative aims to improve investment efficiency and promote high-quality development.

As a key investment project of the group, the project is expected to deliver strong economic returns and robust risk resilience, generating both economic and social benefits. It holds significant importance for national strategic implementation and the long-term development of DATANG POWER.
